Bhubaneswar (TF Bureau): The ruling-BJD MLA from Odisha’s Chandbali, Byomkesh Ray has tested positive for COVID-19.
Ray informed about getting infected by the virus through a social media post.
Ray requested those who came in contact with him to be cautious and stay in isolation.
Meanwhile, the lawmaker’s health condition is stable.
“…Feeling very sad not not to be able to help flood affected people of Chandabali,” he tweeted.
Earlier on Sunday, senior BJD leader and MLA Devi Prasad Mishra also test positive for COVID-19.
BJD legislators like MLA Anant Narayan Jena of Bhubaneswar (Central), Sudhansu Sekhar Parida (Remuna), Soumya Ranjan Patnaik (Khandapada), Srikant Sahu (Polsara), Prasant Behera (Salipur) and Susant Singh (Bhatli) were also earlier tested positive for COVID-19.
