Bhubaneswar (TF Bureau): Odisha has set an example for others to follow. With state battling flood and COVID-19 situations, it has offered free transport and accommodation to JEE and NEET aspirants who will be appearing for the test next month.
The government will provide free transportation to examinees who do not have their own arrangement.
District administrations have been apprised accordingly so that such examinees do not face any difficulty in reaching exam centres, Chief Secretary Asit Tripathy said at a press conference here today.
The outstation examinees will be housed at polytechnic institutes, engineering colleges and ITIs, Tripathy said.
He urged the candidates to contact nearby nodal centres if they face any difficulty in arranging transportation or finding accommodation.
Tripathy further said that examinees and people accompanying them to these centres will not be prevented to reach centres on that day.
