Odisha Floods Update: Situation To Improve By Tomorrow Evening, Informs SRC
Bhubaneswar (TF Bureau): Due to the incessant rain in Odisha, most of the rivers are overflowing now causing flood across the State.
Special Relief Commissioner Pradip Jena today informed that the death toll in the flood has reached to 17 while 10282 houses have been damaged so far.
However, he said that water level in most of the rivers have started to recede and situation may improve by tomorrow evening.

Communication has been hit on 107 roads in 11 districts.
On Odisha’s steps to save lives, he said 14 NDRF, 17 ODRAF and 22 Fire Personnel teams have been deployed while as many as 254 boats, 45 medical teams and 42 veterinary teams are on the ground to deal with any untoward situation.
A total of 20 districts have been affected by the flood – Angul, Balasore, Bargarh, Bhadrak, Boudh, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Jagatsinghpur, Jajpur, Jharsuguda, Kendrapara, Keonjhar, Khordha, Mayurbhanj, Nayagarh, Nuapada, Puri, Sambalpur, Sonepur and Sundergarh, he said.
