Odisha Unlock 4: Are Bars, Restaurants Allowed To Open?
Bhubaneswar (TF Bureau): Odisha government on Monday released guidelines for COVID-19 unlock 4. While major restrictions were lifted to give boost to economy but saving lives being the top priority, there seems to be confusion regarding the opening of bars and restaurants in the State.
Though there is no mention of anything in the notification, the State government has not allowed people to dine-in at bars and restaurants in view of the COVID-19 pandemic, said sources.
The state government had earlier already allowed bars and restaurants to open for takeaway purpose. Hence, takeaways are already permitted in unlock 4.
To clarify over the same, the State government may also come up with a circular soon, the sources added.
Meanwhile, there will be no night curfew and also no weekend shutdowns in the State from today.
