Rhea Chakraborty’s Visit To Morgue: Culprits To Face Legal Consequences

Mumbai (TF Bureau): Days after the Maharashtra State Human Rights Commission (SHRC) issued notices to the BrihanMumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) and Mumbai Police, BMC on Monday denied giving any permission for Rhea Chakraborty’s purported “visit” to the morgue where body of Sushant Singh Rajput was kept.

The Dean of R.N. Cooper Hospital had reportedly appeared before the SHRC and submitted a brief letter over the issue, but the commission was unsatisfied with the Dean’s reply and has ordered the BMC to file a detailed affidavit.

The SHRC has also sent a reminder notice to the Mumbai Police, seeking its response in the matter.

It is worth mentioning that only the immediate family members of any deceased person can be permitted in the morgue. Hence, the SHRC wants the corporation and the police to explain on what circumstances did Rhea was allowed into the morgue.

Therefore, all those found involved in the matter could be liable for legal consequences under the law of the land, said sources.
